I’m tired and looking forward to getting some sleep. I’ve got another long week next week but thankfully not hopping around London all week again! At least I hope not. My life seems quite impromptu and spontaneous at the moment. Today I saw The Hunger Games subtitled - bloody hell its taken cinemas long enough to subtitle the film. We had to go into central London to see it, not a local cinema. I loved it though, and it really did do justice to the book, even if some parts were skipped or cut out (which is fair enough as film and book are two different mediums). It stayed true to characterisation and the general story. I’ve taken on the life of a freelance writer, so I guess I should expect some spontaneity - I have to be up for reviewing things at the last minutes notice, and meeting new people, networking and stuff. I just didn’t figure having a nasty cold whilst doing so! At least its nearly better now.
So - the past few weeks have been up and down but I’m still feeling positive. I just have to find a routine and stick to it - somehow…
